Sugam 98 is for Windows 98 while Sugam 2K is for Windows 2000, XP and Vista.

Both Sugam 98 and 2K contain an OpenType font 'Akhil HE' along-with 3 keyboard layouts. This font 'Akhil HE' works well on Windows 98 (SE/ME), Windows 2000, XP and Vista.

Sugam has different programs for entering text. These programs are required to support different keyboard layouts and different versions of Windows.

We think that OpenType will become de-facto standard in future! So 'Akhil HE' will keep working well in future.

We promise to provide you (and every customer) the future editions of this font 'Akhil HE' for negligible price. We feel that we won't be required to come up with many editions, but we will keep working on this font, to hold the #1 spot (quality-wise). That upgrade cost (in future) will not be more than 25% of retail-price of 'Sugam'/'Akhil HE'. So you can assume that your investment in this font is a very safe one :-).

For entering Unicode encoded Devanagari text in Windows 98, you have to use one of our keyboard programs, as Windows 98 do not have any facility to enter Unicode encoded Devanagari. While in Windows XP and Vista you can use either our keyboard programs or default keyboards provided with those operating systems.

Currently retail-price of Sugam (98 or 2K) is Rs 660.
